Job Overview

The Financial Assessor role forms the first step in the client onboarding journey. You will engage with clients who have expressed interest in financial assistance and conduct initial assessments of their financial situation. The role involves gathering client information, analysing financial data, and guiding clients through the next stage of the process. You will communicate with clients via outbound calls and digital platforms while ensuring professional service and accurate information handling. This position is ideal for graduates who want to build strong communication, analytical, and financial advisory skills in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact clients who have made enquiries about financial services
• Conduct outbound calls to gather financial information
• Assess client financial data to determine financial position
• Provide initial financial guidance and explain available solutions
• Manage client interactions across communication platforms
• Ensure accurate data capture and system updates
• Transfer eligible clients to Financial Consultants for further assessment
• Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism
• Manage time effectively to meet daily engagement targets
• Build trust and manage client expectations clearly
• Support onboarding processes and documentation requirements
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions

Requirements And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer literacy and ability to use digital systems
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking ability
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Customer service or sales experience is an advantage
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Afrikaans language ability is an advantage
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to handle client interactions with empathy and professionalism
