KAL Group Ltd is offering a Graduate Trainee opportunity within Warehouse and Logistics at Agrimark Operations in Paarl, Western Cape. This 18 month contract programme is designed to develop young professionals in supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations within a fast paced retail and agricultural business environment.
Job Overview
The Graduate Trainee Warehouse and Logistics programme provides structured training across key supply chain functions including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and inventory management. You will gain hands on experience in warehouse operations while developing analytical and process improvement skills.
This role is ideal for graduates with strong quantitative ability who want to build a career in logistics, operations, or supply chain management within a growing national retail and agricultural group.
Key Learning Areas
• Receiving and inbound warehouse operations including GRV processing and damage control
• Storage management including bin location systems and racking organisation
• Picking and packing processes with focus on order accuracy and efficiency
• Dispatch and loading including load planning and delivery documentation
• Inventory management through cycle counts and stock takes
• Maintaining stock accuracy above 98 percent
• Warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance
• Process improvement using analytical and engineering style thinking
• Exposure to high volume retail logistics operations
• Understanding of data driven decision making in supply chain
Programme Structure
This is an 18 month structured development programme starting in 2026. You will rotate across different warehouse and logistics functions while receiving mentorship and on the job training. The goal is to build practical experience and prepare you for a long term career in supply chain or operations management.
Requirements And Skills
• BEng or BCom degree with strong quantitative focus
• Fields such as Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics or Data Analytics preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability
• Interest in logistics, operations and process improvement
• Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
• Willingness to rotate across different operational areas
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work with systems and operational data
