Job Overview And Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions including cash, card and other payment methods
• Support stock flow from the stockroom to the sales floor
• Assist with product ticketing, tagging and stock verification
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation
• Support the setup and maintenance of promotional displays
• Use selling techniques such as upselling and add-on sales
• Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and follow store procedures
• Maintain store cleanliness and general housekeeping standards
• Monitor the sales floor and report any suspicious activity
• Support loss prevention and asset protection processes
• Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and retail skills
• Assist with customer greetings and front-of-store engagement during peak periods

Requirements And Skills

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• 0 to 1 year retail experience preferred
• Strong passion for retail and customer service
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
