Job Overview and Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality customer service at all times
• Process sales transactions including cash, card and other payment methods
• Assist with product ticketing and checking incoming stock against documentation
• Support stock flow from stockroom to sales floor
• Assist with setting up merchandise displays and following store layout plans
• Use point-of-sale systems accurately and follow all store procedures
• Apply selling techniques to increase sales and improve customer experience
• Welcome customers and assist them in finding suitable products
• Act as a store greeter during busy trading periods when required
• Maintain clean and organised store standards at all times
• Support loss prevention by monitoring the sales floor and reporting concerns
• Follow all security procedures and store policies
• Take part in in-store and digital training programmes
• Build product knowledge through internal learning platforms
• Use store performance tools to understand sales trends and product performance
Requirements And Skills
• Matric certificate
• 0 to 1 year retail experience
• Strong interest in retail and customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Good communication skills with a clear and positive approach
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing tasks
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support others
• Interest in fashion and styling customers confidently
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately
