Job Overview
The Studio Assistant supports day to day studio and operational tasks including stock handling, product preparation, equipment management, and shoot setup. You will work closely with photographers, stylists, and operational staff to ensure everything is ready for production activities.
This role requires physical energy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility in maintaining a structured studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Unpack, pack, and organise stock, products, and equipment
• Assist with product preparation and basic assembly tasks
• Prepare props, products, and studio spaces for photography shoots
• Support photographers and studio teams during shoots
• Maintain and organise studio tools, props, and equipment
• Assist with general housekeeping and cleaning of studio areas
• Ensure equipment is stored correctly and kept in working condition
• Support inventory control of studio materials and props
• Assist with movement and setup of production materials
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Follow instructions from studio and production teams
• Assist with ad hoc operational tasks as required
Requirements And Skills
• Grade 12 preferred
• Previous warehouse, studio, or production experience advantageous
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
