5.)    Experience in event planning and coordination

Position description:

The administrative assistant is responsible for general assistance in the office

Specific responsibilities include:

General office assistance

  • Receive visitors and respond in a friendly way to their needs
  • Answer telephone calls whenever possible and respond to callers’ requests with a friendly tone of voice
  • Process daily incoming and outgoing mail
  • Provide general support for office including general filing, general copying, supply ordering, and mailing preparation
  • Maintain Salesforce
  • Assist in creating presentations
  • Assist in maintaining and updating Salesforce database
  • Making appointments and coordinating diaries

Special event support and assistance

  • Update project plan.
  • Assist in admin for event
  • Assist in planning process

 

Requirements

• Degree/diploma
– Advanced Excell skills essential

• Work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Work with people in a wide variety of settings and situations
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Capacity to work on a computer and keep detailed records
