CORNASTONE ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS:Program Test Manager OPPORTUNITY

The Program Test Manager will own the test quality and deliverables. He or she will work closely with the Test Manager and manage the Test Execution team to ensure that applications are tested with high level of quality and are up to standards.
The Program Test Manager will be the primary contact for all the testing activities.
Defines, Maintains and improves methodology.

Maintains Overall system integrity through regression testing.
Testing Methodology & Strategy:
Develop and implement a robust set of testing processes, procedures and policies across all projects .
Produces the systems test Strategy, with input from all stakeholders.
Regulating and co-ordinating testing processes and standards across multiple and simultaneous projects and departments, for various browsers, and mobile devices.
Creating test strategies for assigned projects and Managing the test preparation phases for the production of test effort, resource calculation, test data, test cases, test execution plans, and defect report life cycle flows (it is essential to set up for each project as developers use different life cycles)Conducting risk assessments
Ensures that the test environment is set up with the requisite hardware and software to enable testing to take place.
Responsible for evaluating and implementing the relevant testing tools to support the testing effort.
Synchronizing the testing and development environments to allow testing to be done correctly.
Monitoring test project plans across functions providing resource estimates and establishing tasks and schedules; prioritizing and delegating responsibilities to the team
Presenting test improvements and developments in daily progress meetings including planned vs. actual test case progress, blocked, as well as the status of defects and promotion of defects that require resolution, data provided by test team leads and Test Manager.
Resource Management.
Test Plan/Test Strategy
Reviewing and approving test plans and strategy estimates developed by the test manager.
Planning the best coverage of testing over numerous browsers and various devices to avoid duplication and reduce costs whilst ensuring quality coverage and minimum risk.
Release Decision & Sign-Off:
Evaluate and approve the Test Results and make final release decision.
Perform a readiness assessment.
Providing written feedback and recommendations to all stakeholders on test issues.
Test Management Training:
Conducting or coordinating Training and Coaching activities with the resources in the testing team to ensure the appropriate skill levels and understanding of business context is in place.
Reporting:
Defines measure and report on key testing metrics. Identify areas of improvement and associated improvement plans.
Assisting in the preparation of quality assessments, reports, and metrics as well as formulating go-no go statement based on reports and metrics, test progress and defect status

5-10 Years Management Experience
10 > Years Testing Experience
SDLC (strong functional knowledge of Systems Engineering )
In-depth knowledge of software test life cycle

Must have experience managing, mentoring and coordinating a Software Testing Team (Required)

Experience in managing and creating test plans as well as testing performance and reliability of software packages
Must have experience of both manual and automated testing (required)
Must be very organised
Must be well groomed, an excellent communicator and have strong documentation skills / ability to follow software processes.

Bachelors or Masters Degrees in engineering or science related fields. Areas of study may include Network Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Management Information Systems, and Quality Assurance.

Vendor based international exposure and experience.
Must have managed multiple large projects concurrently.
