Tasks and responsibilities associated with the role
• Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities
o Curate relevant content to reach the company’s ideal customers.
o Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
o Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads
o Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
o Compile reports for management showing results.
• Develop a strategy and implement a process for capturing customer online leads.
• Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
• Analyse campaigns and improve on campaigns where necessary
• Monitor goals and objects by measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
• Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
• Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
• Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
• Optimise copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
• Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations
• Research and analyse competitor advertising links
• Work to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

Requirements

Experience and qualification
• Possesses knowledge and experience in the marketing and technical field of marketing.
• Marketing qualification or similar is needed.
• Must have knowledge of how each platform can be utilised to suite each campaign and its objectives.
• Must have a good technical understanding and can work with new tools quickly.
• Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “search and social”.
• Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress.
• Proven SEO experience
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

Personal Skills/Attributes

You must be a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for designing and implementing the company’s content strategy, creating relevant content across all platforms of social media, Google Ad words, knowledge on SEO and updating and managing of the website.
