PRIMEDIA BROADCASTING:Human Capital Manager OPPORTUNITY

Assist the Human Capital department meet its strategic objectives by executing the strategy
Recruitment
• Assist Line management with the recruitment and selection of staff by sourcing and shortlisting candidates in line with company formula and values according to the timeframes and requirements specified by the recruitment and selection policy
• Track and monitor staff movement through the formulation and submission of required reports
Driving performance
• Ensure that staff training and development needs are met through the formulation and implementation of training plans in accordance with business requirements
• Assist the station and line managers drive performance through identifying skills gaps, sourcing relevant training and provision of support and advice when a need is identified or a request has been received
• Coordinate the performance appraisal process to ensure that efficiency is achieved and respond to exceptions
HC statutory reporting
• Compile statutory reports such as DoL EE Report and Seta Reports
• Facilitate meaningful engagement with the Transformation Committee on Employment Equity and skills plans
• Track organisational performance against signed off DTI scorecard targets
Admin and systems
• Ensure that the HRIS and other Human Capital supporting systems function as required
• Conduct probation meetings and exit interviews and identify trends
• Oversee the Human Capital administrators and assistants and ensure that internal controls are adhered to
• Assist the Human Capital and regulatory affairs executive with the monthly, quarterly, annually and ad hoc reports as requested
Employee relations
• Ensure awareness of Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act as well as company policies and assist line managers with the management of IR related issues
• Ensure that the disciplinary process is managed well by putting proper arrangements for disciplinary hearings in place and that
employees and managers fully understand the requirements as well as the disciplinary process
Wellness
• Assist with the management of employee wellness through the development and implementation of initiatives designed to improve wellness within scheduled timeframes.
• Conduct new staff induction programmes to ensure that new staff members are fully aware of their roles and responsibilities and to induct them into the culture of the company
