We are looking for a QA Tester to join our dynamic team. Job Functions Information Technology Industries Digital Specification Main Responsibilities
• Performing hands-on testing, regression testing and QA tasks on client projects, following
aquaonline procedures.
• Logging defects and issues into issue tracking process.
• Assuring quality against national and international standards and legislation, where
applicable.
• Reporting on findings and test results to project managers.
• Liaising with developers to clarify and demonstrate logged issues.
• Managing closure and tracking of issues through the fix process.
Requirements
• Two to three years experience in the internet/web/interactive industry as a manual web test
analyst, or similar
• Familiar with the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines
• Ability to work on and follow-up on multiple projects within a given time period.
• Thorough, careful observer, patient, with a keen eye for detail.
• Pro-active, with good productivity skills.
• An individual who continually aims to learn and extend their knowledge and skills.
• Ability to think logically and clearly when presented with complex problems.
• Ready to question and clarify when presented with unfamiliar projects.
• Must possess good spoken and written communication skills and be able to work with
varied staff members and personalities.
• Honesty, punctuality, and a high level of personal commitment to work and quality
• The ability to take a functional specification and compare against a final release of an
application/production and evaluate where the application does not meet the requirements.
• Excellent working knowledge of internet technologies, including different Web browsers,
ad-serving and email packages.
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows operating systems and related hardware, and
software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Technical background
• A technical background is required for relevant issue reporting.
