Job description

HST’s corporate services division requires a knowledgeable and experienced SharePoint Administrator to provide user support for user helpdesk queries, manage content on the public website and staff intranet portal, create new SharePoint sites and deploy applications/tools, and conduct user training on the platform.

The incumbent must be customer-focused and will be accountable for effective service delivery. Additionally, HST is seeking a team member who demonstrates the ability to multi-task, plan and organise duties, and work independently as well as within a team.

The successful candidate will be expected to have strong communication skills and be able to maintain effective relationships across different levels in the organisation.

The position is a one-year fixed-term contract which may be renewed based on funding and performance. The post is based at our Durban office.

Requirements

  • Relevant ICT diploma or degree
  • Microsoft SharePoint certification
  • Minimum of two years’ SharePoint experience, preferably as a SharePoint Site
    Collection administrator
  • Excellent working knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013
  • SQL server design experience is advantageous
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, ASP and .Net
  • Experience of working in a public health and/or NGO environment (an advantage)
