Description
Caxton Greater Joburg North is looking for an experienced person to fulfil the sub-editing function for both print and online publications. You may also be required to proofread papers and do the corrections, in which case you will be trained in InDesign.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Sub-edit and rework if necessary
• Ability to keep the author’s voice after editing
• Check for and follow the style
• Ensure all copy is of a high standard
• Write catchy headlines for print and online
• Check facts
• Check for legal
• Knowledge of the Press Code
