Job description
A boutique marketing and design consultancy with longstanding clients is looking for a talented, fun-loving, hardworking designer/art director. Learn a range of design and technical disciplines in a very relaxed environment. Along with technical skills, a sharp conceptual ability is key. Salary is negotiable within the range advertised, dependant on the level of your experience and energy. Graduates will be considered, however 1 year of work experience is preferable. Should this role sound right for you please ensure you submit a portfolio containing your work, as well as a CV. Whilst this is a 1 year contract, the option exists to renew after 10 months. Please note, this is not a remote position.
Requirements
- Relevant degree or diploma
- Competent in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Excellent design ability
- Understanding of social media marketing
You will be required to
- Design printed assets including packaging
- Design and distribute emailers
- Manage online advertising platforms (Adwords/Facebook etc.)
- Manage social media pages
- Develop and execute print media advertising campaigns
Candidates must also:
- Have an good design sense, typography, etc.
- Manage time well and work quickly
- Basic understanding of print-ready files
- Be willing to assist wherever required
Personal attributes:
- Enthusiastic attitude to life and a good sense of humour is a prerequisite
- Great people skills as you will relate directly with clients
- Passionate about design and typography, fun personality, self-motivated
- An excellent work ethic
- Be willing to learn new skills and grow
