Key Responsibilities:
- Product Preparation & Manufacturing:
Prepare, manufacture, and wrap products according to company specifications, standards, and daily/weekly budgets. - Pricing Accuracy:
Correctly price random weight/loose-selling items and check all pricing labels for accuracy. - Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks, rotate stock, and ensure that damaged or expired stock is removed. - Waste Management:
Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages through proper stock handling. - Cold Chain Maintenance:
Check and maintain product temperatures to ensure compliance with cold chain standards. - Hygiene & Safety Standards:
Ensure high levels of hygiene, housekeeping, and adherence to safe working standards both on the floor and in backup storage areas. - Equipment Handling:
Operate and clean equipment in line with company standards. - Customer Service:
Appropriately approach customers, handle queries professionally, process orders correctly, and promote products. - Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues, management, customers, and suppliers.
