Key Responsibilities
The Casual Merchandiser will be responsible for:
- Restocking merchandise and maintaining product availability on shelves
- Managing stock flow between storeroom and sales floor
- Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation
- Reporting out-of-stock, damaged, or expired items
- Maintaining neat and accurate merchandising displays
- Supporting general stocktaking and back-shop organisation
- Upholding Dis-Chem’s merchandising standards, store layout, and operating procedures
- Assisting customers with product inquiries and stock availability
- Wearing the correct uniform and identification at all times
- Adhering to company policies, health and safety standards
