What You’ll Do as a Sales Assistant
As a Sales Assistant, your goal is to exceed customer expectations by applying effective selling techniques and creating an inviting store atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include:
- Practicing customer-centric sales approaches to maximize turnover
- Adhering to stock loss control measures to protect store assets
- Meeting or exceeding individual sales targets consistently
- Maintaining excellent visual merchandising standards to enhance product presentation
- Ensuring the store environment is clean, organized, and inspiring for customers
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least 6 months of retail experience
- A Matric certificate or equivalent
- A clear criminal record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Awareness of current clothing trends and the outdoor lifestyle market relevant to Poetry
