- Not have been permanently employed continuously by a single employer for more than one year
- Not be studying full-time during the employment period (April 2023 – March 2024)
- Not have participated or been registered in the YES programme before
- Be responsible for their own accommodation and transport, if applicable
- Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act
