Permanent Part-Timer Vacancy at adidas Meadowdale
adidas Meadowdale is hiring a permanent part-timer to support store operations while delivering excellent customer service. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for retail and a willingness to work in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
Job Purpose
The part-timer will assist management in day-to-day store maintenance, ensure compliance with store policies, and provide customers with a superior shopping experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver the highest level of adidas service to every customer
- Complete regular sales transactions, including cash, credit, and check payments
- Support product ticketing and verify paperwork against received items
- Assist with product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor as needed
- Help develop merchandise displays or follow guidelines set by store management
- Acquire proficiency with the point-of-sale system while maintaining policy compliance
- Apply selling techniques such as upselling and providing technical product information
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products, occasionally serving as a front-door greeter during peak periods
- Maintain store housekeeping standards
- Ensure safekeeping of company assets
Skills and Experience
- Passion for retail and customer service
- Initiative and proactive approach to tasks
- Clear, upbeat communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Previous fashion retail experience is preferred but not required

Education and Experience
- Matric certificate
- 0–1 years of retail experience
