The position involves preparing, baking, and finishing bakery products in accordance with set recipe specifications while maintaining hygiene and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and finish bakery products according to recipe specifications
• Merchandise and display products following laid-down standards
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards in all work areas
• Operate and clean bakery equipment according to procedures
• Report defective machinery or utensils to the Bakery Manager
• Complete production documentation accurately, including production sheets and customer orders
• Adhere to security procedures and workplace rules

Skills and Competencies

• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all tasks
• Conscientious work ethic, following rules and regulations consistently
• Customer-minded approach, ensuring products and service meet expectations
• Ability to handle routine tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Flexibility to work varying hours and manage physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable with temperature variances, including exposure to cold freezers and high-heat ovens
• Experience working with flour, yeast, and other bakery ingredients
