Fidelity Services Group is offering an exciting SHE Intern opportunity at its Fidelity Cash Solutions Head Office in Midrand. This internship is designed for graduates who want practical experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental management within a professional corporate environment. The programme focuses on developing administrative, compliance, and operational skills related to workplace safety systems and environmental management processes.
This role provides direct exposure to health and safety operations within one of South Africa’s major security and investigations companies. Interns will work closely with the SHE department to support compliance, reporting, risk management, and safety administration activities. The position is ideal for candidates who are eager to build a long-term career in occupational health and safety or environmental management.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily SHE administrative duties
• Capture and update information on SHE management systems
• Maintain safety records, registers, and compliance documentation
• Assist with the compilation and maintenance of Safety Files
• Support risk assessments and hazard identification processes
• Participate in incident investigations and reporting procedures
• Assist during safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks
• Coordinate SHE training sessions and staff inductions
• Update and manage legal appointments documentation
• Compile SHE statistics, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel
• Track corrective actions and maintain action registers
Minimum Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:
• Safety Management
• Occupational Health and Safety
• Environmental Management or Environmental Science
• Risk Management
• SAMTRAC qualification is advantageous
• Basic understanding of SHE systems and procedures
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the SHE field
