Job Overview And Responsibilities
• Provide professional advice on beauty and skincare products to customers
• Assist customers in selecting products that match their needs and preferences
• Drive sales through upselling, cross selling and promotional activity
• Achieve monthly sales targets for the beauty department
• Maintain up to date knowledge of beauty trends, product ranges and promotions
• Monitor product performance and provide feedback to improve sales outcomes
• Support stock management and ensure products are available on shelves
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, displays and store presentation
• Ensure cleanliness and general housekeeping within the beauty department
• Promote Clicks Clubcard and assist with customer enrolment
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Deliver excellent customer service and act as a brand ambassador
• Follow store procedures for stock control and shrinkage prevention
• Support promotional campaigns and in store marketing execution
Requirements And Skills
• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Beauty or skincare qualification advantageous
• Experience in retail, FMCG, sales or beauty environment advantageous
• Strong understanding of customer service principles
• Knowledge of beauty and skincare products and trends
• Ability to sell, upsell and cross sell products effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident and engaging personality when dealing with customers
• Target driven and results focused approach
• Ability to follow instructions and retail procedures
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
• Strong attention to detail in merchandising and stock handling
