This permanent entry level role supports daily cinema operations across box office sales, food and beverage service, customer assistance, and general theatre support. You will rotate across different functions within the cinema and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, clean facilities, and excellent guest service.

Job Overview And Responsibilities

• Work across multiple cinema functions including cashier, box office, catering, waiter, and cinema assistant roles
• Process ticket sales, concessions sales, and customer transactions accurately
• Prepare and serve food and beverages including popcorn, slush drinks, and snacks
• Ensure all product preparation meets Ster Kinekor quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen, counter, and cinema areas
• Assist with stock handling, product storage, and inventory control
• Ensure promotional materials, posters, and signage are correctly displayed
• Support shift preparation and operational setup before opening
• Maintain accurate knowledge of films, products, and promotional offers
• Upsell products and enhance customer experience through engagement
• Follow health, safety, and operational procedures at all times
• Report any product quality issues or deviations immediately
• Ensure compliance with presentation and grooming standards
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service

Requirements And Skills

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• 0 to 1 year experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service advantageous
• Basic computer literacy including MS Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, customer facing environment
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work across multiple roles
• High level of personal presentation and professionalism
• Team oriented mindset with willingness to assist where needed
• Basic understanding of food preparation and hygiene standards advantageous
