Junior Forex Consultant Opportunity

Job description

• Administration
  • Places orders with service providers for the provision of foreign currency
  • Ensures foreign cash is locked away during the day and handed over to a treasury custodian at the close of business each day
  • Ensures all required documentation, such as Foreign exchange application form, travel and Financial Intelligent Centre Act (FICA) documents is obtained by the client
  • Ensures all the required documentation is correctly completed and signed by the client
  • Manages client queries and confirm orders
  • Creates and/or maintains client information on Equation
  • Processes all transactions on the Weaver system
  • Checks if customer is on the AML Watchlist prior to processing a deal
  • Identifies and reports any suspicious transactions that may occur
  • Assists in the branch with various queries and functions on an ad-hoc basis
• Customer service
  • Provides an efficient and effective service to all clients
  • Attends and supports client functions and events as and when necessary
  • Cross sells the banks products at all given opportunities

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

• A Matric qualification

Preferred experience

• A minimum of two to three years’ experience in office administration preferably with foreign exchange
