Plant engineer
Through the management of the maintenance department, this GMR2 appointment will be responsible for ensuring sustainable plant efficiencies by means of preventative maintenance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance to all relevant safety regulations and legislation, as well as for ongoing capital project management.
You will report to the operations manager, and will be assisted by mechanical and electrical foremen as well as a safety officer, reporting to him/her.
Requirements for this position include: * A convincing mindset to build a long term career in the company * Degree/National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering * Five to ten years’ relevant experience * Experience as GMR2 * Proven leadership experience, preferably in a maintenance environment.
