The finance department within an advertising agency seeks a dynamic candidate, with leadership qualities who meets the following criteria:-
Job description
- Advice, consultation and general financial support
- Auditing and analytic explanations
- Automating processes and procedures, improving controls and ensuring standardised processes are documented and adhered in each function
- Automation of processes with regards to reporting
- Budgeting (analyse, determine tendencies, evaluate, budget management and explain deviations)
- Cash management
- Financial management for agency and per client
- Full tax function (Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, WHT)
- General Ledger management
- Group reporting and consolidations
- Handle queries on audit report
- Implement audit recommendations
- Manage actuals vs budgets (Variance analysis on controllable centers)
- Management information and reports
- Monthly management accounts, reporting analysis, forecasting, budgets, recons
- Nett income management for agency and per client
- Oversee the compiling of financial statements
- Profitability calculations
- Managing people as well as their performance
Requirements
- Five to ten years’ experience in a similar position
- Completed B. Com Financial Accounting degree
- Completed with Articles would be advantageous
Advantageous
- Experience on Pastel Evolution would be advantageous
- Experience on Chase would be advantageous

Ability to work under pressure

Experience in a managerial role
Flexibility as there will be overtime required
