Duties:

Application design, development and testing.
Application maintenance and fault resolution
Code reviews
Mentorship of junior team members
Full life-cycle development, including technical documentation

Requirements

Seven years + work experience in systems analysis, design & software development and the associated development methodologies.
Ability to interact well in a team environment, to customers and to all levels within the organization.
Strong OOP skills;
Strong grasp of design patterns and modern software design principles;
Be familiar with the web technologies and services.
Ability to analyze and deduce sources of bugs from stacktraces.

Current tools and technologies include:
Gerrit
Android Studio
Jenkins
GIT
Experience developing & releasing consumer handset applications in a commercial environment (e.g. J2ME, Android);
Understanding of Agile processes for software development
Unit Testing
Continuous integration
TDD

Advantageous

Experienced developer in .Net or Java for mobile handsets using client/server and database functionality;
Android development
