Lima Bean is a fast growing digital agency. We are looking for a junior digital quality assurance analyst – more specifically, someone who has a passion for the digital industry and would like to grow with us. Previous experience in in a similar role isn’t essential – we really just want someone who has a high level of attention to detail, and who wants to learn and grow in the digital industry.

Position Title: Junior digital quality assurance analyst

Location: Cape Town (Observatory)

Job Type: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Neg. depending on skills and experience

Purpose

The purpose of the job is to manage the quality of new and existing systems and websites. Tasks will include testing, logging tasks and bugs. The candidate will also be involved in team meetings, project reviews and check-ins and will work closely with the project managers, developers and designers. The candidate must have a passion for all things digital and seek to grow and gain experience in the areas of digital design/UX, technologies, SEO and more.

Immediate roles and responsibilities

–          Managing project quality through testing and bug / task logging

–          Gaining a thorough understanding of what constitutes good digital design, UX, as well as understanding and checking SEO and technical areas

–          Writing of test cases

Requirements

Essential

–          Relevant diploma or degree

–          A passion for the digital industry

Advantageous

Advantageous, but not esential:

–          An understanding of digital user experience principles

–          An understanding of SEO

–          A good creative eye

–          High level of attention to detail

–          Passion for quality

–          Excellent organisational and time management skills

–          Excellent verbal and written communications skills

–          Creative understanding and the ability to judge web usability
