Job description
Connect is media, which operates as part of the M&C Saatchi group of companies in South Africa.
We are looking for a media strategist to work on a range of clients, including a fast-paced fashion retail client and an innovative FMCG company. The successful candidate will have the following qualities
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the media industry
- Solid understanding of media principles and processes
- Confident to craft and present media strategies to senior clients
- Excellent project manager – able to coordinate multiple jobs and stakeholders
- Attention to detail with a structured and process orientated approach to work
- Solid understanding and genuine interest across all touchpoints – including digital platforms
- Ability to work and perform under pressure
- Both someone that can work independently and be a team player that is part of an integrated communications team
- Excellent knowledge of standard media tools incl Amps, Adex and ability to draw insights from data
