Minimum Entry Requirements

To qualify for the learnership, applicants must meet the following:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• South African citizenship
• Clear criminal and credit record (MIE checks apply)

While not essential, prior experience in the beauty industry will be an added advantage.

Key Duties and Learning Outcomes

Participants will gain expertise across three core areas:

1. Stock Control:

• Ensuring shelves are stocked with non-expired items
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
• Keeping storerooms neat and organised
• Participating in stock takes and adhering to stock rotation procedures

2. Merchandising:

• Setting up attractive, on-brand displays
• Demonstrating products through makeovers and promotions
• Labelling products correctly and maintaining visual appeal in-store
• Working to meet sales targets

3. Customer Service:

• Providing friendly, professional customer assistance
• Advising customers without pressuring brand loyalty changes
• Processing payments at Point of Sale counters
• Resolving customer stock queries
