A Pro Tools Prepper, prepares regions in pro-tools against visual and script for audio engineers as preparation for post-production recording and foreign language dubbing. Prep includes elements of script adaptation, so english skills are key.
Part-time work, engineers looking to apply will have to pass a trial after which they will need to complete a two week unpaid internship (training period). Once prepping tasks can be completed to the standard needed in reasonable time, pro-tools preppers will be paid per completed episode/movie, between R150 – R350 depending on the type of prep and studio time taken.
Peppers showing potential will be considered for full-time employment, and training to become dubbing engineers.
We need more nighttime peppers than day time peppers, as our stations are mostly full during the day. The studio is open until 11.30pm at night.
Do not apply looking to do anything else than what is described – You will not be making beats, recording bands, etc… This is a real audio post production environment not a movie.
