Job Overview And Responsibilities

• Assist experienced buyers in managing product categories and supplier relationships
• Analyse sales data, market trends and customer buying behaviour
• Support the development of product ranges that meet customer needs
• Participate in pricing strategies and promotional planning activities
• Assist with supplier negotiations and relationship management
• Monitor stock levels and product performance across assigned categories
• Contribute to business decisions through data analysis and reporting
• Work closely with merchandising, planning and supply chain teams

• Support category reviews and product performance evaluations
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to buying activities

Requirements And Skills

• Recently completed BCom or BSc degree in a business-related field
• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Supply Chain or Retail Management will be advantageous
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence when interacting with suppliers and colleagues
• Good organisational and multitasking abilities
