Dynamic and established international sports brand seeks junior fashion designers to join the experienced team providing products to retail stores, chains and independents.
Qualification in fashion design and experience in dealing with stakeholders such as manufacturers and sales representatives are required.
Pro-active dynamic designers for the process from design, CAD, sample, bulk, quality control, costing, catalogues and communication with stakeholders: manufacturers, representatives, suppliers, head office and internal team.
Tasks include:
- Developed of spring/summer and fall/winter apparel and caps collection
- Developed of technical cads and artwork
- Fit measurements and samples
- Liaising with manufacturers
- Liaising with the international head office
- Liaising with suppliers
- Cost analysis
- Development of catalogues
- Quality control
- Corresponding with sales representatives
- Quality driven person
Requirements
- Qualification in fashion design
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign required
- Computer literacy: Mac
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and competency
- Ability to multitask
- Creative and innovative thinker
- Excellent problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Strong planning and organising skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Self-motivated and the ability to take ownership
- Leadership skills
