About the Graduate Programme

The Quality Assurance Graduate position forms part of the Information and Technology Governance and Service Transition Department. As a member of the Quality Assurance Team, you will work closely with experienced professionals to ensure software solutions meet business and technical requirements through structured testing and quality assurance practices.

Throughout the 12 month programme, you will develop practical knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect management, reporting processes and industry best practices while building a strong foundation for a career in Information Technology and Quality Assurance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Graduate, your responsibilities will include:

• Identify, record and monitor software defects.
• Assist with defect resolution and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Analyse testing results to identify recurring issues and quality trends.
• Attend training sessions on software quality assurance principles and system functionality.
• Prepare structured progress reports using defined reporting standards.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Studies or a related qualification is preferred.
• A combination of Information Technology and Commerce subjects will be advantageous.
• Candidates with at least two years of relevant VKB Group experience may also be considered without a formal tertiary qualification.
• Understanding of agricultural business processes will be advantageous.
