CMD Implementation Associate Opportunity

Job description

A leading global brand service agency is currently and urgently looking to fill the role of CMD implementation associate at their Century City offices in Cape Town.

The position involves:

  • Implementing one major or up to 3 medium sized Marketing Resource Management (MRM) software solutions, called CMD
  • Working closely with the CMD Implementation Manager (TIM) to gain valuable insight to a new client or the expansion of an existing account
  • Delivering the company’s technology in a defined process, time frame and to the client’s expectations

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and have analytical propensity.

Principle responsibilities:

Mapping users

  • Mapping a new account’s user base to enable a list of template profiles to be created
  • Gathering all pre-approved user details for bulk registration
  • Identifying the training needs of each template profile
  • Mapping and creating approval template profiles, groups and processes

Data management

  • Responsible for scoping migrated data, creating meta data frameworks and auditable transition plans
  • Manage bulk uploads of data and QC process
  • Responsible for building multiple data forms

Branding and rebranding

  • Creating an on-brand site across multiple browsers, in accordance with the clients supplied guidelines
  • Gathering and briefing all branding to the internal design, product and development teams
  • Testing branding in all environments
  • Manage the build of splash pages and branded emails

Configuration management

  • In conjunction with the cmd Implementation Manager, scope all configuration requirements for new site builds and document
  • Responsible for building a new instance of cmd, applying agreed configurations and managing the clients’ approval of agreed configurations
  • Responsible for implementing the configuration of any extended services or modules within the company’s MRM solution
  • Accountable for delivering reporting examples through SSRS

Documentation support

  • Manage the creation and implementation of user guides and eLearning modules
  • Create and maintain throughout the Implementation phase, wiki pages, detailing the new or existing client’s requirements
  • Responsible for launch communications
  • Accountable for handover documentation to Support team

Required skills and experience:

  • BTEC or HND qualifications are necessary and/or a Bachelor’s degree in a technology-based degree is preferable
  • Experience in an office environment preferable
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability of customer service

Measures of performance:

  • Delivery of Implementation phase on time and where applicable on budget
  • On time launch of branding
  • RFT performance against data and configuration management, within client tolerances
  • Turnaround speed of any client amendments to data management or configurations
  • Visibility and clarity of wiki pages and handover packs to Support team
