This full-time, two-year contract internship is offered by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in partnership with SASSETA, and is based in Pretoria with a hybrid work arrangement.

About the CSIR/SASSETA Internship
CSIR is one of South Africa’s leading scientific and technology research organisations, known for advancing innovation to support industrial development and socio-economic growth. This internship programme aims to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in a real-world setting, working alongside skilled professionals in science, engineering, and technology (SET) disciplines.

Fields of Internship
Internship positions are available in the following SET disciplines:

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronic Engineering
• Mechatronic Engineering

Eligibility Requirements

• Have completed a National Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in one of the listed fields
