Purpose of the Role

The internship focuses on internal and external communication for Discovery Corporate and Employee Benefits. The selected candidate will contribute to drafting communications that address product updates, legislative changes, system enhancements, and operational developments. This role is designed for individuals who are confident writers, highly organized, and capable of producing quality work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

The Communication Analyst Intern will be responsible for tasks including:

Consulting with internal stakeholders to gather content information
Drafting stakeholder publications and operational communication
Creating and updating forms, operational emails, and letters as required
Maintaining Discovery’s communication library and website content
Briefing content into the Marketing team and managing the delivery process
Prioritizing tasks and meeting agreed deadlines

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this internship, applicants should have:

Matric and a communications-related bachelor’s degree (or be currently pursuing one)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Prior experience in a similar role will be an advantage
