About the Role
OK Furniture is looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join their sales team. This is a permanent position, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys engaging with customers.
As a Salesperson, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the store by driving sales and providing outstanding service to clients. Your goal will be to meet and exceed sales targets while building lasting relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
If successful, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Maintaining an excellent level of product knowledge to help customers make informed buying decisions.
- Participating in promotional events, campaigns, and sales initiatives to help drive store performance.
- Keeping accurate sales records and reporting on daily activities.
- Ensuring the store maintains high presentation and merchandising standards.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the role, you should have:
- A Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
- A proven track record in sales and customer service.
- Product knowledge and industry experience (advantageous but not essential).
Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work well within a team environment.
- A willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
