The Role: Grain Procurer
This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven team player eager to contribute to the procurement of grain and Safex trading activities. The successful candidate will focus on revenue growth while ensuring excellent client service and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute grain trading and Safex-related functions within JSE regulations
- Minimise financial losses through accurate administrative and trading transactions
- Offer expert advice and market-related information to clients
- Assist producers with the implementation of effective marketing strategies
- Provide regular, in-depth market reviews to producer groups
- Stay up to date with new JSE hedging procedures and trading practices
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / NQF Level 4
- A relevant BCom degree in Economics or Agriculture is recommended
- Completion of the Safex APD exam will be advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a similar procurement or trading role is preferred
