Personal Shopper Opportunity at OneCart, Blue Route, Tokai

OneCart (Pty) Ltd is hiring Personal Shoppers on a contract basis for its operations in Tokai, Western Cape. This role suits individuals with strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Position Overview
As a Personal Shopper, you will act as a personal concierge to customers. Your responsibilities include advising customers on products, preparing orders for delivery, and handling queries. You will stay in-store during working hours, ensuring all orders are accurate and customer instructions are followed.

Key Duties

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to help customers make the best purchase decisions.
  • Fulfil customer orders and process payments in person.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to customer complaints and requests.
  • Recommend substitutes when products are unavailable, discontinued, or out of date.
  • Report any supply issues or product quality concerns to management immediately.
  • Select, scan, and pack orders accurately.
  • Assist with order collection, packaging, loading, and payment as needed.
  • Keep track of product availability and collaborate with other store departments.
  • Manage personal priorities to meet deadlines and support team goals.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and embody the company’s values.

Job Requirements

  • Matric certificate.
  • Must live near Tokai or the Blue Route area.
  • Fluent in English, with good typing skills in full sentences.
  • No prior experience required.
