Job Purpose
The Furniture Consultant acts as a brand ambassador, providing guests with tailored solutions and ensuring the store meets both sales and operational targets. The position involves direct interaction with customers, managing product displays, and contributing to overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience and Sales
- Represent the brand and provide an outstanding guest experience
- Identify customer needs and offer suitable furniture solutions
- Actively track sales performance against set targets
- Promote a diverse product range and stay informed on trends and technology
- Identify opportunities to generate new business
Store Operations and Visual Merchandising
- Assist with stock replenishment and visual merchandising
- Maintain a store environment that is ready for guests at all times
- Execute customer service strategies to ensure satisfaction
- Manage risks within the store and uphold operational standards
Leadership and Management
- Exhibit strong leadership and business management skills
- Strategically plan and manage the sales process
- Drive profit and turnover performance
- Organize and manage store administration tasks effectively
- Develop customer value management initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Passion for people and customer service
- Target-driven with a hands-on approach
- Ability to take initiative and deliver results under pressure
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Organised, thorough, and detail-oriented
- Experience in management and strategic sales planning
