Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) in Richards Bay is offering a Sector Specific Trainee position designed to develop a pipeline of skilled professionals for key roles within the organisation. This structured 12-month training programme provides young South Africans with practical experience in port operations while aligning their academic background and career goals with business requirements.

Position Purpose

The training programme aims to equip learners with the skills and knowledge required for operational roles within TPT. Participants will be placed in specific areas based on their qualifications, career aspirations, and the company’s operational needs. The programme is structured to support career development and long-term employment opportunities within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 12-month training programme.
• Undergo performance reviews and assessments to monitor progress.
• Perform all duties as outlined in the training plan and any additional tasks reasonably assigned by TPT.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• TVET N6 in Logistics or Transport is advantageous but not mandatory.
