The Foschini Group is offering an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring Retail Buyers in the Western Cape. This role is designed for individuals eager to develop hands-on experience in fashion buying, trend analysis, and product selection while supporting a dynamic retail team.

Role Overview
The YES Buyer Intern will assist the buying team with administrative tasks, research emerging styles, and contribute to future product selections. The role offers exposure to sales analysis, customer feedback, and collaborative planning to inform buying decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support buying administration, including order creation, amendments, and sample management.
• Liaise with marketing for product photoshoots and promotions.
• Conduct research on emerging fashion trends.
• Assist the buying team in curating future product ranges.
• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to guide informed decisions.
• Share insights and ideas to enhance product offerings.
• Collaborate with the Planning team to contribute to product selections.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Fashion, Retail Business Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career as a Retail Buyer.

Skills Required

• Analytical and research skills to interpret trends and sales data.
• Proactive approach to learning and acquiring new knowledge.
• High attention to detail for accuracy in documentation and assessments.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
