Job Overview And Responsibilities

• Assist pest control technicians with inspections, treatments and follow-up visits
• Identify common pests and report findings to senior staff members
• Prepare, mix and handle pest control products according to safety regulations
• Set up, maintain and clean pest control equipment and tools
• Support technicians during site visits and operational service delivery
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
• Maintain accurate service records and job reports for all assigned tasks
• Assist with site preparation before treatment activities
• Support post-treatment clean-up and site restoration
• Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced technicians
• Learn pest control methods, prevention techniques and industry standards

Requirements And Skills

• Age between 18 and 27 years
• Grade 12 / Matric certificate is essential
• Valid driver’s licence with driving experience
• Structural Pest Control Certificate is advantageous but not required
• Interest in pest control, facilities services or environmental hygiene
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured environment
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Physically fit and able to work in varied environments
• Willingness to learn technical pest control methods
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices
