QC Agent Opportunity at Barron Edenvale

As a QC Agent, you will play an important role in ensuring that incoming products meet Barron’s quality requirements before they reach customers. You will inspect products, identify defects, complete quality reports and work closely with the Quality Assurance team and Buyers to maintain the company’s high product standards. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect all received purchase orders to ensure products meet company quality standards.
• Compare products against technical packs and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards.
• Check every unit for defects, colour consistency and accurate measurements.
• Identify quality issues before products move through the supply chain.
• Complete detailed AQL inspection reports.
• Capture and submit photographs of any defects identified during inspections.
• Report quality concerns promptly to the Quality Assurance team and relevant Buyers.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Update quality control records to ensure information remains current.
• Assist other departments with quality-related questions and support when required.
• Follow established quality control procedures and inspection processes.
• Contribute to maintaining Barron’s reputation for delivering high-quality products.

Requirements and Skills

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and email.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow established procedures.
• Comfortable working with physical stock in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to accurately record inspection results and product information.
• Willingness to learn and develop quality assurance skills.

The following will be advantageous but is not essential:

• Certificate in Quality Control, Clothing Production, Textile Technology or a related field.
• Knowledge of Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) standards.
• Previous garment or product inspection experience.
• Previous quality control experience.
