- To identify, define, assess and monitor investment risks exposure arising from external and in-house trading and investment management activities.
- To ensure compliance with Financial Services Board & Regulation 28 of the Pensions Fund Act, Eskom Pension and Provident Fund (EPPF) Investment policy, External and Internal Investment Mandates, EPPF Policies (eg. Personal Account Trading).
- To identify, define, assess and monitor risks of EPPF, and manage the enforcement of its procedures and guidelines.
- At least 5 – 8 years experience that includes senior management roles in Asset Management / Retirement Fund and preferably within an Investment House as a Compliance Officer.
- KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Lead and manage the financial and investment risk function for EPPF Act as JSE / Safex and FSB Compliance Officer Evolve the EPPF’s compliance infrastructure Keep abreast of risk and compliance issues related to investment and financial risk Advise various committees on risk issues Strategic management and business planning People Management
