MIGLIO DESINER JEWELLERY:Junior Digital Designer OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a creative and dynamic digital designer to join our creative team at Miglio Designer Jewelry. You’ll be responsible for designing and creating digital material across a variety of media.
You will work closely with our vibrant creative team, who conceptualise and create all print and online material for Miglio worldwide. This material consists of our websites, online shops, affiliate programs, social media platforms, blogs, online catalogues and all print material.
The junior digital designer will be responsible for the following:
- Updating and maintaining the existing websites front-ends
- Creating online material for our social media platforms
- Ensuring all designs align with the relevant corporate brand identities
- Conceptualising new digital material as required
- Execute the teams ideas and also be a part of the initial creative process
- Researching and keeping up-to-date with new skills on a regular basis
- Assisting with print material overflow when necessary
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 and a relevant design qualification (preferably a diploma or degree)
- A minimum of two to three years digital design experience
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS6 specifically: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign
- Excellent concept design ability for web
- Ability to code and change well-formed HTML and CSS
- A good understanding of cross browser/platform compatibility and restrictions
- Experience in working with social media platforms
Advantageous
- A degree in design
- Experience in the fashion industry will be highly advantageous
- Ability to work between digital and print when necessary, although this will not be a regular requirement
