Senior Manager – Digital Content Production Opportunity

This exciting position is a specialist role for the brand’s marketing and communications. This role will provide thought leadership and governance around all aspects concerning online and digital expression of the brand. The senior manager: digital content production is responsible for driving a successful content marketing strategy that includes: content planning, messaging and branding, content creation, curation, and delivery. This includes driving content across multiple platforms and formats to drive awareness, engagement, leads, retention and positive customer behaviour.
We’re looking for an expert in all things related to content and channel optimisation, storytelling, segmentation and localisation, analytics and meaningful measurement. This role should stimulate innovative thinking and provide clear strategies across all mediums within the overall digital marketing strategy. This role oversees the ideation and production of content services across digital marketing (web, digital marketing and communication areas.)
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the definition of a comprehensive content strategy for digital products used by end consumers and the experiences to help content, design, delivery teams understand how to implement our offerings to best drive adoption and use.
- Provide thought leadership on the online expression of the brand.
- Develop a content strategy for all digital (web and mobile) environments and applications.
- Lead the creation of voice and tone
- Maintain a high level of communication with BUs to ensure consistency in communications internally and strategy development.
- Provide governance, guidelines and rules internally for all environments and applications.
- Provide governances, guidelines, rules and management of outsourced third parties to deliver SEO, usability optimisation.
- Lead the creation of digital content strategies for campaign decks across the business.
- Communicate traffic successes and report on current strategies
- Consistently analyse and asses analytics and data to provide insights to constantly optimise the content strategy.
- Create compelling presentations and campaign decks that excite internal stakeholders and executives, and help them understand our content strategy and its importance to our success in digital.
- Liaise with regional and country teams to ensure that content strategy scales to the diversity of needs for a global user base.
- Undertake coaching and training of content and design managers in the brand’s different countries.
- Identify content partnerships and market opportunities and manage content sharing across countries.
- Be accountable for the approval of all digital marketing content.
- Provide governances, guidelines, rules and management of outsourced third parties to deliver SEO, usability optimisation, development needs.
- Craft and provide content work for all environments and applications.
- Contribute towards the development of an integrated digital communications strategy (including intranet).
- Contribute content work that will positively influence web strategies in order to drive traffic, generate leads, increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention and revenue.
- Work with colleagues across marketing teams to ensure that the digital and traditional content strategy and activity is integrated and leverages off one another.
- Provide governance and policies across brand to ensure that all content activities are compliant to agreed protocols, standards and rules.
Education and experience:
- Tertiary Education majoring in Journalism/Copy Writing/Communications/Marketing or equivalent.
- Five years’ experience in communication, copy writing, digital marketing, including a minimum of three years within a digital marketing environment.
- Minimum three years management experience.
