Job description
- Designing delicious and appropriate meals and continuously making improvements.
- Forecasting, planning, sourcing, and ordering Food and Beverages, supplies for the kitchen
- Ensuring that all café expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs
- Build positive relationships with our staff & suppliers
- Managing daily food and beverage operations
- Following food and safety regulations
- Maintaining incredible customer relationships with our staff, processing complaints, and responding to their needs
- Assisting with marketing events.
- Creating and enforcing cafe policies, targets, and KPIs.
- Hiring, training, and managing café staff
Requirements
- A love for people and creating excellent experiences for them
- In-depth knowledge of the food industry
- Exceptional leadership & communication skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the hospitality industry
- Culinary or food service management degree(or similar) may be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
- Excellent Stock management skills
- Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets
- Ability to forecast food and beverage needs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently & responsibly
