Large Mining house is looking for an experienced Mining Leader

Reporting to the Business Leader, the successful candidate will lead the Minng team in the cost-effective optimisation and extraction of the ore body and must ensure compliance of provisions of the Mine Health and Safety Act

Must be in possession of a Mining Engineering Degree/Diploma with a Mine Managers Certificate of Comptency, coupled with 10yrs plus undeground mining and the management of diverse teams. Trackless mining experience and open-cast exposure would be advantageous.

Manging and coordinating the Mining Department, Managing the tactical and strategic plans, leading and aligning the Mining Department with the site’s SHEQ policy, Overseeing capial project budgeting and coordination, including contract formulation. Compiling and controlling the mining budget. Compiling monthly, quarterly and annual mining reports for the operaiton.
