Production Assistant Opportunity at Pick n Pay Wonderpark

Pick n Pay is seeking a dedicated Production Assistant to join its Wonderpark store in Gauteng. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce products according to specifications and standards while maintaining hygiene and safe working practices
• Manufacture, prepare, and wrap products according to daily and weekly budgets
• Correctly price random weight and loose selling items and verify label accuracy
• Conduct regular quality checks and rotate stock, removing damaged or expired items
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages while maintaining the cold chain and checking temperatures
• Ensure hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards are upheld in all areas, including floor and back-up
• Operate and clean equipment according to established standards
• Approach and advise customers on products, listen to requests, provide required services, and handle interactions professionally
• Process all customer orders according to proper procedures and service standards
• Promote products and communicate effectively with employees, management, customers, and suppliers

Qualifications and Experience

• Ability to manufacture and produce various meat products, including sausage and mince
• Proficiency in English for clear communication
• Experience in a production or retail environment is beneficial
